[Madness Wootification]

Technical aspects good, content not quite

While a technically solid animation, your guards suffer from "Dynasty Warriors syndrome" which is common in Madness animations, where the characters run out wielding their formidable guns and melee weapons and simply stand still and wait to be killed. This unfortunately makes the otherwise fine animation a bit boring.

Technically impressive animation

Very crisp, smooth and tidy frame-by-frame animation - it is very clear you put a lot of care and effort into the construction of this animation. On top of that, the content is enjoyable to watch and listen to. You have produced a very high quality animation. Congratulations - you have just won 800 internets.

[Sephiroth vs Silent Hill]

Content was good, technical aspects not so good

Idea was ok, though I thought you took a lot of short cuts in actually putting this animation together.

The character models themselves were ok, but the tweened animation on some of them left much to be desired. Using some *more* drawn, frame-by-frame animation would have made things look a lot better, as some things (such as characters turning and cloth/hair flailing) really look plain bad with just tweening alone. The backgrounds weren't much to look at but they did their jobs of, well, literally filling in the background fine.

The sound was fine (as it often is with tributes) as all the sound effects and music are already from the game(s), giving it an "authentic" quality as well as taking a load off you. I did however think that the dialog was a big raspy due to poor recording equipment/environments.

I guess I could sum the review up by saying:
Good, but room for improvement.

P.S. Of course Sephiroth would own scary phallus monsters - he has the Masamune.

I LOL'ed for quite some time when I saw this. The music was pure genius. Genius on par with hiring homeless people to stand in line for you when purchasing a PS3 on the release day.
